Family friendly activities in the Margaret River region
Our region has heaps to keep the whole family entertained! Get up close and personal with our native wildlife. Spend days on the gorgeous beaches. Explore the epic caves. Or just relax with a local ice cream whilst the kids run wild in the Millers play ground :)
The beach at Cowaramup is sheltered from the wind and perfect for swimming and playing with the little ones. Best of all...it's free :)
The caves in the Margaret River region are stunning. Especially on a hot summers day they are a great way to escape the heat.
The other side of Cowaramup is our favourite local ice creamery Millers. Made from the the farms dairy cows we think its the best ice cream in the South West!

Feed the kangaroos and heaps of other animals. Theres a great play area for any left over energy :)
Meet the giant stingrays at the beautiful Hamelin Bay Beach. It's also a great swimming and fishing spot.
Take a trip to Busselton Jetty- you can walk the 1.8km or take the train to the end. Then visit the amazing natural aquarium at the end of the jetty.
At the entrance to Margaret River town is the fabulous rotary park. With play areas, walks, cycle paths, historic sites and public BBQs it has everything. There is also a cafe over the river and often a food truck pulls up in the evening.
Share your lunch with the cheeky blue wrens at the berry farm. There are delicious chutneys, jams and wines for sale and a huge pay ground for the kids.
